Format

Current USA Pickleball Rules will apply for the Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles, & Mini Singles events during the tournament. Round Robin/Pool Play will be used for all Events. All matches will be 1 game to 15 points, win by 2, except Bonze and Gold medal playoff matches for Pool Play events (best 2 of 3 games, to 11 points,win by 2) Events of 10 or more teams will be divided into two pools, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the medal playoffs. The top team from Pool 1 will play the second-place team from Pool 2 and the top team from Pool 2 will play the second-place team from Pool 1. The winning teams will play each other for GOLD/SILVER. Losing teams will play each other for BRONZE. Events with 9 teams or less will be Round Robin format, each team plays every other team. USAP rules for determing placement will be used. (i.e. : match wins, head to head match ups, point differential) Brackets with fewer than 4 teams will be combined with another bracket as follows: Skill/Age Divisions Age levels within each skill group may be merged by the Tournament Director if less than 4 teams. ( 19+, 35+, 50+, 55+, 60+ ) Example: 3.0 / 19+, 35+, 50+ or 4.5 / 55+, 60+ Age/Skill Divisions – Skill Levels within each Age Group may be merged by the Tournament Director if less than 4 teams. ( 65+, 70+) Example: 65+ / 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 or 70+ / 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 MEDALS WILL BE AWARDED IN EACH BRACKET WHEN BRACKETS ARE COMBINED. PLAYERS MAY EARN MEDALS IN EITHER COMBINED OR INDIVIDUAL BRACKETS, BUT NOT BOTH. Tournament Directors reserve the right to adjust brackets as needed based on participation and reserve the right to refuse entry to the tournament for any reason.

Weather Event Policy

In the event of weather, the tournament team will make every effort to complete all matches. However, it is an outdoor tournament, and adjustments and/or cancellations are possible. There is no provision to play indoors or have a makeup day beyond the current tournament schedule.
